How to buy bitcoin at the best price in Argentina?
We want to share with our Argentinian users the different ways they can buy bitcoin in Bitso. Currently we have two formats to access bitcoin using Argentinian pesos:
## Option 1: Through Bitso app: It’s the easiest way to buy bitcoin within seconds with a couple of taps from your phone.
First, you will need to have pesos in your Bitso account. To fund your account, you have to select ARS Argentine Pesos in your app. You will find a CVU number you can use to deposit from your online banking.
After funding you can click on the “buy” button and choose “Bitcoin BTC”, and include the amount of pesos you want to convert into BTC.
## How is the price determined in our app? The price in the app is executed as a market order on our exchange, therefore you would pay the price that appears on the selling end of our exchange. Hence, you will have a “Taker” fee. This fee changes depending on the volume that you have traded on our platform, which is different for every user. You can check the fee you paid once you completed the transaction, you just have to click on the transaction in your activity record. ## Option 2: Through Bitso Alpha This is the most convenient option if you are looking to set the price of your bitcoin purchase. To do this, you will need to log into Bitso Alpha in the website with your Bitso credentials.
You will see the BTC/MXN market by default. Click on the little arrow and you will see all the available markets in Bitso. Choose the BTC/ARS market to start operating with your Argentinian pesos.
Once inside that market you can see how the price behaved over specific period of minutes by selecting the 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes options. You can also see the variation per hour or per day. Below the graph you have the “Bid price” and the “Ask price”. These positions contain the price that users choose to buy or sell their bitcoin with Argentine pesos.
Going back to the app, the price of the app is based on the last position shown in Bitso Alpha. But if you see, there are plenty of prices and you could choose from to buy at a better price. You can also place a limited order, i.e. create your own position, so you can buy bitcoin fractions at the most convenient price for you.
